    30% of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars are women, and 20% are from Africa.

  • Being a resident of a Mastercard Foundation partner country
  • Being a student in a Mastercard Foundation partner country
  • Being a student who has not previously received a Mastercard Foundation scholarship
  • Being a student who is pursuing a degree in a field that aligns with the Mastercard Foundation’s priorities, such as education, health, and economic empowerment
